Digital Transformation to Enhance the Effectiveness of Social Planning in Social Institutions: A Study from a Social Service Perspective.

Abstract

The study addressed "Digital Transformation to Enhance the Effectiveness of Social Planning in Social Institutions." The study aimed to identify the means and solutions for leveraging digital transformation technology in social planning and to understand the relationship between them. The researcher used a descriptive approach and qualitative analysis، as this is the appropriate approach for this type of study، based on previous studies. In addition، the researcher conducted interviews and experienced the study problem. The study highlights the importance of enriching the cognitive aspect of social service as a method for social planning regarding digital transformation and enhancing its efficiency. This supports academic efforts to develop curricula and methods for professional intervention based on digital transformation. The study concluded that social institutions in Yemen suffer from weak digital infrastructure، including a lack of fast internet and appropriate devices. The study also found a lack of digital skills among employees، which hinders their ability to use digital transformation tools effectively. In light of these findings، the study recommended that the government and non-governmental organizations invest in improving digital infrastructure، in addition to developing employee skills through targeted training programs aimed at enhancing digital capabilities.

: تناولت الدراسة "التحول الرقمي لتعزيز فعالية التخطيط الاجتماعي في المؤسسات الاجتماعية" وهدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الوسائل والحلول في استثمار تكنولوجيا التحول الرقمي في التخطيط الاجتماعي ومعرفة العلاقة بينهم واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي والتحليل النوعي كونه المنهج المناسب لمثل هذا النوع من الدراسات مستندةً إلى الدراسات السابقة، بالإضافة إلى مقابلات ومعايشة الباحثة لمشكلة الدراسة ، وتبرز أهمية الدراسة   في إثراء الجانب المعرفي للخدمة الاجتماعية كطريقة للتخطيط الاجتماعي فيما يخص التحول الرقمي وتعزيز كفاءته  مما يدعم الجهود الأكاديمية في تطوير مناهج وأساليب للتدخل المهني المبني على التحول الرقمي  ، و توصلت الدراسة إلى أن المؤسسات الاجتماعية في اليمن تعاني من ضعف في البنية التحتية الرقمية، بما في ذلك نقص الإنترنت السريع والأجهزة المناسبة. كما وجدت الدراسة نقصًا في المهارات الرقمية لدى العاملين، مما يعيق قدرتهم على استخدام أدوات التحول الرقمي بفعالية، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بضرورة استثمار الحكومة والمنظمات غير الحكومية في تحسين البنية التحتية الرقمية، بالإضافة إلى تطوير مهارات العاملين من خلال برامج تدريبية موجهة تهدف إلى تعزيز القدرات الرقمية.
